Research Lab

The science arm of MISHA Foundation. Distinct from ~/STRC/ (the working notebook) — this program publishes finished outputs, manages access policies, and coordinates with external labs.

Mandate

  • Synthesize global STRC and broader sensorineural-genetics research
  • Maintain hypothesis ranking + AlphaFold3 structural data + druggable-pocket analyses
  • Publish deliverables open-access on wiki.mishafoundation.org
  • Coordinate access for partner labs (Holt, Shu, future)
  • De-risk wet-lab work via computational front-loading

Distinction from STRC vault

  • ~/STRC/ = working notebook. Hypotheses, ranking deltas, scripts, in-progress models. Internal.
  • programs/research-lab/ = MISHA-owned outputs. Final figures, white papers, vetted ranking summaries, lab-coordination metadata, MOU/data-sharing agreements with external labs. Public-by-default.

Linkage: STRC publishes via Quartz to wiki.strc.egor.lol. Research Lab publishes via MISHA Quartz to wiki.mishafoundation.org. Cross-links via obsidian:// URIs.

  • Holt Lab (Boston Children’s / Harvard) — SAB-confirmed via index. First grant target.
  • Shu Lab (Fudan / Shanghai) — Asia-network anchor. Outreach pending.
